BIO

Peter Jones qualified as a solicitor in 1980 and was appointed State Solicitor for Westmeath in 1989. He has been principal of Peter D. Jones & Co since May 1990 and has successfully fulfilled his role as State Solicitor for over 30 years citing countless successful prosecutions for the county amongst his achievements.

In addition to his State function Peter runs a successful private practice covering various areas of civil law ranging from local district court cases to supreme court matters.

Mary Dowling

BIO
Mary Dowling qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales in August 2015 and entered the Irish Rolls in January 2016. Mary qualified in the area of insurance litigation defence work and moved into commercial conveyancing thereafter.

On returning to Ireland Mary took up a position as solicitor with Peter D. Jones & Co and handles the civil work in the practice comprised of conveyancing, probate, wills, personal injury, employment law and general litigation.

In September 2023 Mary was promoted to Partner.
